1957 Bandai, No. 523 Ford Fairlane Ranch Wagon in Original Box
Classic two tone green (evergreen and mint) tin litho friction drive Japanese built Ford Station Wagon. Beautifully detailed with two red and white pleated bench seats and rear cargo space. Comes complete with original box. Accurately detailed with Ford hood ornament, grille, and hub caps plus Fairlane logo on both tail fins. Features drop down, lift up, tail gate with built in lock. Green on green two tone with red side molding and loaded with chrome. Tires are solid rubber with red striped whitewalls and chromed hubs. Steering wheel is chrome plated metal. Interior is all detailed including dashboard. Front and rear windshields are original celluloid. Chassis is single plate, embossed, and completely lithographed. Two piece box features full color illustrated cover show a couple loadin' up the wagon near a farm stand. Original Bandai sticker on the front lower left corner. Side panels show a yellow and white version plus a separate insert with visual instructions for operating the tail gate. The box is stamped "GREEN" which is correct for the toy. Size: 11¾".
